About the Contest
The National Wheat Foundation hosted the National Wheat Yield Contest for the first time in 2016 and was well-received by wheat growers across the United States, offering growers the opportunity to compete with their peers. The contest allows growers to share and learn innovative techniques to improve wheat productivity on their farms to ensure an ample supply of quality U.S. wheat to reliably meet the needs of the domestic wheat market and our foreign customers.
Objectives
Improve the overall productivity, quality and marketability of the US Crop
Educate and communicate to all segments of the wheat industry the importance of yield, quality, and profit
Develop best management practices to achieve high yield, high quality, and higher profit

Thank you for participating in the 2024 National Wheat Yield Contest. The deadline for your harvest data is October 1, 2024.
Please continue to save your 10 pound wheat sample for quality analysis. Winners will be notified by November 1 where to ship this sample.
Winners will be announced in early November and Top Quality winners will be announced in mid-January.
