Farm & Mill Tours
Annual Farm Tour
The National Wheat Foundation hosts and annual farm tour for congressional staff, USDA employees, and Maryland agriculture employees to experience a real working wheat farm during wheat harvest time. Attendees get a chance to learn from area farmers and professionals who help them how wheat farmers work to be sustainable and productive.
Mill Tour
The National Wheat Foundation and Siemer Milling Company hosted a tour to the mill at West Harrison, IN on November 7, 2023. National Association of Wheat Growers, U. S. Wheat Associates, and the National Wheat Foundation participated in the optional tour before the fall meeting.
Wheat 101
The National Wheat Foundation and National Association of Wheat Growers host an education event designed to inform Members of Congress and their staff about how vast and important the wheat value chain is to the economy and our food supply.
